John Humphreys became a Pillar To Post business owner and professional home inspector because of his prior experience in the military, where he honorably served in the US Army as a Sergeant with a one-year deployment to Iraq, and his experience as a patrol supervisor with the Vestavia Hills Alabama Police Department, where he also worked as a crime scene investigator. He knew that home inspection is a career that helps his community and requires the same level of work ethic and attention to detail.
John Humphreys really enjoys working with and helping people. Working in home inspections allows him to assist new people every day, and he loves helping them make informed decisions when buying or selling a home. He wants his clients to know that he’s in their corner.
In John’s free time, he enjoys fishing, spending time at home with his dogs and cats, and traveling with his beautiful wife and five amazing children.
We are thrilled to welcome our newest team member, a dedicated National Guard member who has come on board to immerse himself in the family business. After six months of intensive training, he is now a fully licensed home inspector. He draws upon a rich background of hands-on experience in renovations and property enhancements.
When he's not on the job, he enjoys diving into video games, challenging friends to chess, and hitting the gym to stay fit. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he can't wait to start making a positive impact in our community with his expertise.
